Angelina Jolie Channeled Obi-Wan Kenobi to See Star Wars: The Last Jedi With Her Kids
Angelina Jolie’s wardrobe does not usually gravitate to the otherworldly, but this weekend with kids Shiloh, Knox, Vivienne, and Zahara in tow, the Academy Award winner appropriately channeled her best Obi-Wan Kenobi to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Jolie is in New York City to promote her new film First They Killed My Father, and on Friday was awarded the Global Citizen of the Year Award by the United Nations Correspondents Association. But yesterday was all about a family outing, and for the occasion the actress, director, and philanthropist elevated her futuristic white wrap dress with a few easy pieces.
Jolie tends to favor minimal palettes and silhouettes, and in that respect her latest LWD was no different. But her tan Ryan Roche belt added a fitting dose of intergalactic magic, its wide, calf-skin strip accenting Jolie’s dress with a demure, but direct impact. Amping up the effect were oversize shades, flat boots, and Salvatore Ferragamo's book tote—no doubt, a 21st-century alternative to the jet pack.
