What to see, do and shop this Vogue Festival
Held in Adelaide’s Rundle Mall and Rundle Street on Friday, October 13 and Saturday October 14, Vogue Festival is set to be a celebration of all things fashion, beauty and Vogue, bring a little Vogue-approved glamour to South Australia’s capital for the two day festival.
With so much to do, see and shop, we’ve rounded up the best of the best in a handy guide ― perfect for planning your weekend. You can thank us later.
What to see and do
For those that love a giveaway as much as we do, the Vogue Hub is the place to be on both Friday and Saturday. Located under the Gawler Place Canopy, Vogue Hub will be destination ground zero for all things fashion ― including a Vogue vending machine, packed with prizes.
As has (basically) become tradition at Vogue-hosted events, The Daily Edited will once again be setting up a bocce game, this time in Rundle Mall. Inspired by flowers and definitely your ultimate Instagram opportunity, the activation was a hit at Fashion’s Night Out in Sydney and Melbourne. Plus, you can pick up some monogrammed leather goods following a game or two.
Fancy a dance? Adelaide’s favourite fashion haunt Bnkr is bringing their Bnkr truck for DJ’s, giveaways and the chance to win a brand new wardrobe.
The Myer runway will be the place to be come Friday, with Jennifer Hawkins making a special appearance for the launch of new-season Australian collections, including Acler and Alex Perry. Runway ready?
Also on Friday, head into Adidas for an exclusive live demonstration by artist Cat Dean, who will be showing off her reimagined Tubular shoe. A must for sportswear fans.
Where to shop
Apart from offering some of our favourite retailers and exclusive deals, Adelaide Central Plaza will be playing host to a Moét & Chandon Champagne bar. Plus, spend over $99 and you’ll get a bonus OPI gift pack.
Head to Zimmermann and Tigerlily for 15 per cent off during the Festival, and for 20 per cent off storewide, Country Road, Oroton and Gorman will all be the places to go. For even more, head to Rubi Shoes, Novo and Levi’s, which will all be offering 30 per cent off.
Also at Levi's, head in store for a bespoke take on denim, with personalised patches and customisation available on site for the whole two days.
With virtually every store in the region offering some sort of deal, a stroll around Rundle Mall will be the best way to scope out the discounts on offer.
Where to eat and drink
Espresso martinis will be up for grabs on both Friday (from 12pm) and Saturday (from 9am) from coffee cocktail specialists @em. With four varieties in total, this is the place to get your coffee hit.
If coffee isn’t your thing, Veuve Clicquot will be hosting their very own pop up bar both days. Located near Strandbags, the bar will no doubt be the place to be seen (and to refresh) during the festival.
Where to get beautified
Having a bad hair day, or just want to test drive Dyson’s new hairdryer? Head to Dyson’s Blow Dry Bar (near Nespresso) from 12pm Friday and from 9am on Saturday for a professional blow dry. Your hair can thank us later.
Everyone's favourite place to get pampered, Endota Spa, will be offering skin consultations plus 20 per cent off all products, meaning there's no excuse to get your skin into shape.
Media Makeup will be on call near Myer all weekend for make-up touch ups, providing the ultimate makeover for a night of fashion.
Skin need a little love? Jurlique Glow Bar will be popping up near Adelaide Central Plaza, offering express treatments and plenty of samples. Fresh and ready for the day ahead.
